    About Us

    Thrive Leyland Meadows is a well-established and trusted nursery in Leyland, offering free on-site parking and excellent transport links. With a strong reputation for high-quality childcare, our nursery was recognised in 2022 as one of the Top 20 Day Nurseries in the North-West of England.

    We are looking for passionate and dedicated qualified Early Years Practitioners to join our friendly and experienced team on a flexible supply basis.

    As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play an important role in providing high-quality care, learning and development opportunities for children aged 3 months to 5 years. You’ll have the opportunity to work across both indoor and outdoor environments, creating stimulating experiences that support children’s learning, development and wellbeing.

    We welcome applications from Level 2 and Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioners who are looking for flexible work within a supportive and nurturing nursery environment.

    What You’ll Do

    • Provide safe, nurturing and engaging care for children aged 3 months to 5 years
    • Support and deliver stimulating learning experiences through play and planned activities
    • Promote children’s individual learning and development
    • Support daily routines, activities and holiday cover
    • Build positive and professional relationships with children, parents and colleagues
    • Work effectively as part of a skilled and passionate Early Years team
    • Promote the health, safety and wellbeing of all children
    • Follow nursery policies and procedures, including safeguarding requirements
    • Act as a positive role model for children and colleagues

    What We’re Looking For

    • Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification
    • A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development
    • A reliable, enthusiastic and positive approach
    • Good communication and teamwork skills
    • A commitment to providing high-quality care and learning experiences
    • A strong understanding of safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare
    • The ability to work flexibly and adapt to the needs of the nursery
